We are inviting high calibre and self-motivated indvidual to fill the following vacancies based in Hanoi, Vietnam.
IT DIRECTOR - based in Hanoi, Vietnam (Ref: ITD-VN)
Job responsibilities:

• lead and manage an It team for the delivery of sophisticated and cost effective IT systems to timely meet the mobile business needs.
• manage the on-going changes to meet the dynamic business requirements for prepaid system, IN, postpaid system, customer service system, POS, financial reporting system, data warehouse, office computer system, interconection charging system, etc.
• develop the RFP requirements, manage tender process effeciently.
• manage vendors and content providers for the quality deliverables of targets.
• manage the annual IT CAPEX and OPEX budget.
• ensure that the process and systems are Sarbanes-Oxley compliant.
  

Job Requirements:

• Holder of IT or computer degree in related discipline and conversant with the latest IT development in telecom industry.
• min 12 years of relevant experience in mobile communication industry, in which at least 7 years at managerial level or above.
• solid exp. with tracked records in mobile IT system design, Oracle database, billing, interface protocols and GSM specifications (Diameter, TAP3, SMPP, etc), SIM cards development and provisioning.
• Exp. in RFP documentation and tendering process.
• Excellent communications skills and fluent in written and spoken English.
• Exp. in working abroad in South/ SE Asia is a definite advantage.
  

HEAD OF CORE NETWORK & VAS - based in Hanoi, Vietnam (Ref: HCNVAS-VN)
Job responsibilities:

• responsible for design, deployment, expansion and acceptance of cellular core network, data core network, roaming wireless intelligent networks, SMSC, MMSC, ringback tone platform, and other VAS.
• monitor performance, capacity and utilization of the core networks, including circuit and packet core, etc.
• design and define the RFI / RFP requirementsand evaluate the RFP response.
• define and document the governing procedures to oversee suppliers managed services.
• troubleshoot network faults and provide recommendation.
  

Job Requirements:

• Holder of telecom engineering or computer degree in related discipline
• min 10 years relevant exp. in mobile communication industry, in which ate least 3 years at managerial level.
• solid exp in core and VAS network design, GSM and 3GPP specifications and interface protocols.
• exp. in RFP documentation and tendering process.
• fluent in written and spoken English.
• exp. in working abroad in South / SE Asia is a definite advantage.
  

TRANSMISSION MANAGER - based in Hanoi, Vietnam (Ref: TM-VN)
Job Responsibilities:

• responsible for the design, planning, deployment, continuous expansion, and acceptance of transmission systems, including microwave PDH, SDH, and optical fibre.
• monitor performance, capacity, and utilization of the transmission systems and provide recommendations for optimal operations.
• design and define the RFI / RFP requirements and evaluate the RFP response for recommendation.
• interface with the government authorities for microwave frequency approval and other licenses required for transmission system construction.
• define and document the governing procedures to oversee suppliers managed services.
• troubleshoot network faults and provide recommendation for suitable corrective actions.
  

Job Requirements:

• holder of engineering or communication degree in related discipline
• min 10 years exp. in mobile comm industry, in which at least 3 years at managerial level.
• Solid exp. in microwave, optical fibre transmission design, long haul submarine cable system, interface protocols (SDG, ATM, STM, DWDM, etc)
• exp in RFP documentation and tendering process.
• fluent in written and spoken English
• exp. in working abroad in South / SE Asia is a definite advantage.
